About
Existential Counselling BC is not a company, agency, or collective.
It’s a shared space created by two independent counsellors who share a similar philosophy and approach to mental health.
Each of us maintains our own independent practice, professional registration, and client relationships.
What brings us together is a shared understanding of the psychological challenges of our time—and a belief in the importance of thoughtful, human-centered counselling.

A Space for Reflection
Our Shared Philosophy

We’re mindful of the current state of mental health in our society and aware that, despite many advances, the overall trend is not one of improvement.
Existential counselling, as we practice it, is not “unstructured or vaguely philosophical talk therapy.”
It’s a grounded, reflective process that acknowledges the real and often overwhelming conditions of contemporary life.

At its core, existential counselling is a quiet act of resistance against the over-medicalization of human suffering that has shaped recent decades.
What Counselling Means to Us
Counselling is a place for reflection, connection, and honest conversation—a space where time slows down and both silence and words have value.
It’s a collaborative process that supports self-understanding, deepens relationships, and helps people reconnect with creativity and vitality.
Our training and methods guide this process, but they never replace it. The aim is always to help each person rediscover their own voice, direction, and capacity for renewal.
